Dashboard Screen

The dashboard screen is the main screen of the fitness studio management software. It provides an overview of the fitness studio's schedule, bookings, and important analytics. In this documentation, we will elaborate on the different functions and features available on the dashboard screen.

Navigation Bar Buttons

The navigation bar buttons can be found at the top of the dashboard screen. Here is a brief description of each button:

  1. Dashboard: This button takes you back to the main dashboard screen from any other screen within the software.
  2. Members: Clicking on this button will navigate you to the members' management section. Here, you can view, add, edit, and remove members from your fitness studio.
  3. Plans: This button will direct you to the plans' management section. Here, you can create, edit, and manage the membership plans for your fitness studio.
  4. Staff: Clicking on this button will take you to the staff management section. Here, you can add, remove, and manage staff members who work at your fitness studio.
  5. Settings: This button allows you to access the settings page where you can configure various options and preferences for your fitness studio.

Top Bar Buttons

The top bar buttons are located just below the navigation bar buttons. Here is a detailed explanation of each button and its functionality:

  1. Today: Clicking on this button will instantly navigate to the current week's schedule.
  2. Previous Week: This left arrow icon button allows you to navigate to the previous week's schedule.
  3. Next Week: This right arrow icon button allows you to navigate to the next week's schedule.
  4. Classes/Personal Selector: This selector allows you to switch between two calendar views: classes and personal sessions. By selecting "Classes," you will see the calendar view for class sessions. Selecting "Personal" will display the calendar view for personal booking sessions.
  5. Edit Schedule/Done Editing Toggle: This toggle button allows you to switch between normal mode and editing mode. In normal mode, you can view and manage existing booking sessions. In editing mode, you can add, edit, or remove booking sessions.
  6. Instructors List: This feature allows you to filter classes or sessions based on a specific instructor. You can select a specific instructor from the list, or choose "All Instructors" to view classes or sessions from all instructors.

Weekly Calendar

The main area of the dashboard screen displays a weekly calendar that shows different booking sessions throughout the day. By scrolling up and down, you can view booking sessions at different times of the day.

  • Grey bookings represent past booking sessions.
  • Green bookings represent class sessions.
  • Orange bookings represent personal sessions.

Normal Mode

In normal mode, the calendar shows the booking sessions based on the selected view (classes or personal sessions). Clicking on a booking session opens a new window that displays the session details.

  1. View details: This section displays information about the booking session, including the day, time, instructor, comments, booked members, and waiting list members.
  2. Add/Remove Booked Members: If there are available spots, you can add or remove members from the booking session by clicking on this option.
  3. Edit Comments: You can edit the comments related to the booking session by clicking on this option.
  4. Cancel Booking Session Entirely: This option allows you to cancel the booking session entirely.
  5. Booking Personal Session: When the personal toggle is on, clicking on a vacant availability allows you to book a new personal session.

Editing Mode

In editing mode, the calendar shows the class plan for the selected week or availability for personal booking sessions, depending on the class/personal toggle. Here is how you can manage bookings in editing mode:

  1. Edit Existing Class: Clicking on an existing class allows you to make edits to its details.
  2. Add New Class/Availability: Clicking on an empty space allows you to add a new class session or availability for personal booking sessions, depending on the class/personal toggle.
  3. Generate Class Sessions: After making all necessary edits in editing mode, clicking on "Done Editing" generates the specific class sessions for the current week and future weeks based on the class plan.

Right Side Features

The right side of the dashboard screen includes additional features and options:

  1. Edit Your Landing Page: Clicking on this button allows you to customize and edit the landing page for your fitness studio.
  2. Share Page Link: This option displays the URL of your landing page. You can copy it or share it on social media platforms.
  3. Quick Insights: This section provides general analytics about your fitness studio, including the number of active members, occupancy for the current day, pending member leads, and due payments. Clicking on "More Analytics" will redirect you to the analytics screen for more detailed information.
  4. Announcements: This feature enables you to send news and updates to your members. You can use this section to communicate important information or promote events happening at your fitness studio.
