How to Request Deletion of Your Account and Data
This article explains how to request deletion of your account and associated data for Simply Studio.
Important: You can request account deletion even if you have uninstalled the app from your device.
Steps to Request Deletion:
- Open a support ticket by clicking the chat icon at the bottom right of this screen, by going to our support site, or by sending an email to support@simplystud.io.
- In your ticket, detail your request to delete your account and associated data. Be sure to include the following information:
- Business name associated with your account (if applicable)
- Email address used to create your account
- Once the ticket is opened, we will be sending a response, asking for confirmation of the account deletion, in order to verify that the request was sent from an authorized user.
Data Deletion and Retention:
Once your deletion request is processed, we will delete the following data associated with your account:
- Business details (name, address, contact information)
- Classes (including descriptions and materials)
- Appointments (past and scheduled)
- Member information (including profiles and preferences)
- Staff member information (including profiles and permissions)
Please note: We may be required by law to retain certain data for a specific period. In such cases, the data will be securely stored and isolated from general use until the retention period expires.
